St Sargis monastic complex is located 1 km north-west of Ushi village, in Aragatsotn province of Armenia. It sites at the southern foot of the hill of which was once a settlement from the 2-1 millennia BC.

A monument with a cuneiform inscription of Urartian King Rusa II (685-645 BC) was discovered during the excavations carried out in the area of Zvartnots, on the initiative of Archimandrite Khachik Dadayan in 1901-1907. Today it is placed on a pedestal in front of “Zvartnots” Historical-Cultural Museum-Reservation.

The library of the “Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations” SNCO, where there are about 8000 titles of professional literature, the New Testament published by the Mekhitarist Congregation of Venice in 1896 (6,0 x10,0 cm) is also kept here.The publication is well preserved, the cover was changed years ago.

At an altitude in the southern and western part of Tsovak village, a fortress was founded at the beginning of the 1st millennium. On the territory of the fortress there are cultural layers characteristic of the 11th-19th centuries. and a number of monuments. The fortress with its settlement is quite large and spacious, occupied an area of about 3.5 sq. km. On the Tsovak-Lchavan road, the territory of the fortress is divided into two parts.
