On July 24, 2022, Vardavar was celebrated in the Pagan Temple of Garni within the framework of festive events organized by Garni community and administrative regions of Kotayk province. On July 24, 2022, entry was free for the visitors during the event from 12:00 to 16:00. The event started with the performance of the song and dance groups from Garni Sports and Culture Center, the works of the pupils of Garni School of Fine Arts were exhibited, and the “Arordineri Ukht” organization performed a pagan ritual dedicated to Vardavar.

On July 24, 2022, we will celebrate the holiday of the transfiguration of Jesus Christ, Vardavar, with the “Garni” historical and cultural museum-reserve and administrative regions of Kotayk province of the Republic of Armenia.
A unique cultural event titled “The bronze response to interrupted prayer”, an exhibition, and a concert took place in “Zvartnots” historical and cultural museum-reserve.
A group of Ph.D. students of the University of Florence-Marta Zerbini, Alessandra Vezzi, Lecci Novella, were sent to Armenia in cooperation with Yerevan State University and Erasmus + programme.
