By the initiative of NCSO’s Yerevan regional service and NCSO’s division of events planning and marketing an event dedicated to the popularization of monuments and undistorted protection was held in the military university after Vazgen Sargsyan.
“Protection service” NCSO’s division of events planning and marketing and Shirak’s regional service held a painting competition entitled “Let’s paint the monuments of our region” in Spandaryan community’s secondary school.
By the initiative of NCSO’s Syunik regional service an open lesson entitled “The Bgheno-Noravank” was held in Goris’s Yuri Bakhshyan school. The teachers, pupils of the school were present.
As a result of the investigations held by the Armenian office of “D-V-V” international organization, development programs in the spheres of tourism and culture will be held in the republic’s Gegharkunik, Shirak and Kotayq regions. “D-V-V” international has applied for the European union for financing. It is planned to implement a number of media projects in a number of museums in the cultural sphere. The director of the organization’s partner “Association of museum employees and friends”, coordinator of “Center of museum education” Hayk Mkrtchyan, Manager of “Media projects center” Arshaluys Muradyan and “Lratun” project’s head Vahram Martirosyan were in “Protection service” NCSO.
By the joint initiative of NCSO’s Ararat regional service and Zangakatun community’s secondary school an open lesson entitled “Let’s recognize and protect” for schoolchildren.
In the past year a number of interesting discoveries and archaeological excavations were implemented in a number of monument territories in the Republic of Artsakh. Our colleagues of Artsakh promise to strengthen the cooperation in the sphere of archaeology and monuments protection. The protection of Armenian historical-cultural heritage will be implemented more effectively with joint efforts. Exchange of experience, implementation of exhibitions, conferences, training of staff is planned. During the meeting of RA “Protection service” NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan with Artsakh Republic’s “Protection service” NCSO’s director Armine Hayrapetyan the structure, functions and authorities of the organization were presented, projects implemented last year were mentioned.
The delegation of “Protection service” NCSO also took part in the conferences entitled “Partner of European heritage volunteers” and “The best models of volunteering for the European cultural heritage” held in Germany’s Leipzig and Weimar cities.
