It’s already the second year that the national traditional feast is celebrated in NCSO’s branch museum-reserve gathering many people round it. The celebration of Trndez or Tyarnyndaraj started with the ethnographic song performances of “Gata band”.
“Monument keeper should have good knowledge, know the historical significance of the monument under his protection, reservation zone, and have knowledge about laws. During the work with the heads of communities we face many difficulties quite often and I won’t be mistaken to say that you should know the legislation better than the village elders”, mentioned “Protection service” NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan during the working meeting the employees of Aragatsotn regional service.
The villager of Shirak region’s Horom village has an interesting ethnographic collection. As a result of around 8 years of everyday work he managed to collect more than 1000 items: trays, teakettles, scales, silver belts, crocks, daggers and so on.
The cooperation between Ararat region’s Vanashen secondary school and “Protection service” NCSO’s Ararat regional service is put on firm basis. The joint events and open lessons dedicated to the preservation of cultural heritage are periodical. The head of regional service Roman Karapetyan and deputy head Anahit Dallakyan participated in the event entitled “Glory to Armenian army” dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the formation of Armenian army.
On January 29 an event was held in Vayots dzor region’s Areni secondary school dedicated to Armenian army day. The open lesson was dedicated to the 27th anniversary of the formation of our young, strong and combatable army.
